Neuronalys: the French start-up specializing in the development of AI-based software solutions
Neuronalys emerged from the undeniable observation made by Romain JACQUET, former Director of Information Systems, regarding the inefficiency in handling surveillance camera images. Indeed, law enforcement agencies still spend too much time manually reviewing hours of surveillance footage in order to identify a vehicle, an individual, or an incident.
With significant technological advancements in recent years, Neuronalys’s founder, along with his two partners, Fabien ANTONI and Fabien GAVORY, quickly realized the need to develop an Artificial Intelligence-based image analysis solution. This became a reality in 2019 with the establishment of Neuronalys, a technology centered on AI expertise in computer vision.
NeuroCop: the intelligent video analysis solution for security
NeuroCop represents the first software solution developed by Neuronalys to enable the analysis of surveillance video images. This solution includes both the hardware (NeuroComputer) and the software required for image analysis. It can be installed in CCTV rooms and operates by directly connecting to the surveillance cameras.
Once installed, NeuroCop enables law enforcement agencies to use a search engine and set up a real-time alert module to immediately detect risky situations. NeuroCop thus represents an efficient and secure tool for authorities concerned with enhancing security within their territory and safeguarding their citizens.
A significant fundraising to support the development of Neuronalys
Neuronalys quickly established itself in the CCTV market. This can be easily explained by the founder’s 10 years of experience in CCTV Center and the 4 years of Research and Development (R&D) required for the development of this technology. Faced with the growing demand for AI-based software solutions, Neuronalys successfully completed its first fundraising round in December 2022.
This fundraising notably allowed Neuronalys to strengthen its team, enhance company development, penetrate new vertical markets, and expand the international reach of the NeuroCop solution.
By 2027, Neuronalys aims to increase its revenue tenfold, particularly by expanding into vertical and international markets.
Expansion into vertical markets and international deployment
Until now, Neuronalys’ software solutions have been primarily adopted by local authorities seeking to enhance security in their territories. However, the founder of Neuronalys, along with his associates, recognized from the outset the numerous applications this technology could bring to the Defense and Industrial sectors.
The company also offers other software solutions. NeuroFactory Digitize enables intelligent processing of complex industrial documents, while NeuroCare focuses on the analysis of medical imaging.
Neuronalys aims to explore its vertical markets while also expanding internationally. A promising expansion lies ahead, with AI firmly embedded in future solutions.
